We want you to be a part of this inspiring team of 40 women and men who
will challenge Mt. Shasta's 14,162-foot climb for breast cancer prevention. Climb Against
the Odds 2009 will be the Breast Cancer Fund's 10th team of breast
cancer survivors and people touched by this devastating disease.
Together, the team will demonstrate that — like working to prevent this
disease — anything is possible if taken one step at a time.

Join us for a full day of racing on Infineon Raceway’s lightning quick karting track with professional driving instruction courtesy of Jim Russell Racing Schools. In addition to instruction, you will have the use of a kart, a driving suit and helmet, lunch and the possibility of being one of 10 finalists who will compete in a timed lapping at the end of the day.

Sept. 12-13, 2009; Sprint (.25 mi. swim, 12.4 mi. bike, 2 mi. run) or Olympic (.93 mi. swim, 24.8 mi. bike, 6.2 mi. run).The course begins with the famous Kelp Crawl swim, where "assistance from sea otters or sea lions is strictly prohibited." The cycling and running courses lie along the Pacific Grove coastline, with breathtaking views for participants to admire as they push themselves to the limit while admiring crowds cheer.

Winding 165 miles peak-to-peak around Lake Tahoe, The Tahoe Rim Trail passes through two states, six counties, one state park, three National Forests and three Wilderness areas. The weekend includes two nights' hotel stay and a full-day hike around Lake Tahoe on Sept. 26. This hike is limited to 18 participants.
